Join the SOA Watch Legislative Working Group for a hands on grassroots lobby training to prepare you for your visits on Capitol Hill during President’s Day weekend events and for building relationships with your Members of Congress during the 111th Congress and beyond!
Hear from seasoned experts on how to best lobby on the issue of closing and investigating the SOA/ WHINSEC and learn valuable skills including:
Lobbying tricks of the trade
Best arguments (and how to make them) for closing and investigating the school
Network with other activists in your region
Learn the history of your Members of Congress on their SOA-related voting record
Prepare for your meetings, and
Receive and utilize the SOA Watch 111th Congress lobbying packet
