This years' Strategy Meeting & Lobby Days will reflect upon the most recent, super successful mass mobilization at the gates of Fort Benning, Georgia and Hemisphere Wide Coordinated Actions calling for an end to U.S. military intervention in Latin America.

The movement is energized by the rise of grassroots power for social change throughout the Americas and the North-South ties that have been built. Over the past couple of years, five Latin American governments denounced the School of the Americas and decided to stop sending soldiers and police to receive training at WHINSEC.

This year we will continue to look at building a movement beyond the School of the Americas. We will evaluate and strategize around the November Vigil, media and direct action strategies and our new Latin American organizing initiatives.
