As a 1 year old, MasPaz was adopted from an orphanage in Bogota, Colombia, La Casa de la Madre y el Niño. His family then moved to the Washington DC area where he grew up and went to school. After graduating from George Mason University, MazPaz moved to New York and explored the art scene, honing his street art skills. After exploring NYC, MasPaz left for a six-month journey through South America that completely changed the direction of his life.
About every two years, MasPaz travels back to Colombia to reconnect with family friends and visit the orphanage. It is his mission to help those in need. He works to spread the message of Mas Paz (more peace), by sharing positive imagery and promoting a culture of peace and justice. A quarter of every donation made goes to his former orphanage along with 5% of all income gained from paintings, projects and online store.
