2011 November Vigil PDF Print E-mail
Greetings and a healthy 2012. The New Year brings new energies, new strategies, news projects and new hopes for keeping our struggle for a peaceful world, alive and growing.

I think that 2011 was a good year for all of us. We, the 99%, as a people, have recognized that we must change the “American way of life” if we want to survive. This fact is irreversible and need to be assimilated and explored. The SOAW has been saying it during the 20 years of struggle to close the SOA and to change the foreign policy of USA toward Latin America . But changes can not occur overnight. We must keep this struggle constantly in mind to promote our message of Justice and Peace.

I realized when I went to the SOA Watch’s vigil in Fort Benning , Georgia in 2011 that our efforts have not been in vain. Many young people were there for the first time. Among them were students from Chicago and they produced a short documentary that I would like to share with all of you.
