Hospitality: We have space for a changing table for babies and another quiet space for nursing mothers. Volunteers can help at this space to occupy siblings while Mom/Dad are busy. Also we need some equipment carried by parents who are driving.

Advice from Mom: contact any of these Moms with logistical questions:
On the way home I asked my 7 year old what he thought of the trip. He told me it was very sad. (He did cry a little during the reading of the names.) I told him some people think it?s not good to do things that are really sad with 7 year olds. He was very upset and told me that he was learning that it?s bad what the soldiers did and that it taught him he didn't want to be a soldier. I was 100% reassured that it was a great experience for him.

Because our kids are small, (4 years old and 6 year old) we decided to fly. We had a friend who was driving pack up our wagon which we used for both kids and stuff. When Quinn got tired on Sunday, he could just curl up and we were able to still participate in the procession.

I?ve taken my sons, 12 and 15 years old, to places all over the world but they tell me that the SOA weekend is their favorite. They?ve skateboarded along the river walk and last year brought a mini-cam to start making their own SOA video.
