As SOA Watch we gather in the diverse traditions of nonviolence, with respect for the right to self-determination of oppressed peoples and communities. Together we envision a day in which a culture of peace with justice and respect for Earth will prevail, where all people will live together free from oppression.
This weekend, in our tradition of nonviolence:
• We will gather together in a manner that reflects the world we choose to create.
• We will promote an alternative to domination systems by acting with love, respect, mutuality, compassion, and acceptance for the interdependence of all life.
• We will struggle for a world free from violence and we will use actions, words and symbols consistent with this struggle.
• We will not use or instigate violence against any person.
• We will act with respect for the people and property of the local community.
• We will promote the safety of ourselves and others through our actions and interactions.
We commit to recognize and to work dismantle all forms of oppression in our personal relationships, local neighborhoods, globally and with Earth itself.

DIRECTRICES PARA LA NO VIOLENCIA
Como SOA Watch nos congregamos siguiendo las diversas tradiciones de la no violencia, respetando el derecho a la autodeterminación de los pueblos y comunidades oprimidas. Concebimos, todxs juntxs, un día en que prevalezca una cultura de paz con justicia y respeto por la Tierra, donde todos los pueblos vivirán juntos y libres de opresión.
Este fin de semana, en nuestra tradición de no violencia:
• Nos congregaremos de una manera que refleje el mundo que queremos crear.
• Fomentaremos una alternativa a los sistemas de dominación a través del amor, el respeto, la reciprocidad, la compasión y el reconocimiento de la interdependencia de todas las vidas.
• Lucharemos por un mundo libre de violencia y emplearemos acciones, palabras y símbolos coherentes con dicha lucha.
• No emplearemos la violencia contra ningún individuo.
• Actuaremos con respeto por la gente y la propiedad de la comunidad local.
• Fomentaremos la seguridad propia y ajena mediante nuestras acciones e interacciones.
Nos comprometeremos a reconocer y trabajar para desmantelar todas las formas de opresión en nuestras relaciones personales, en nuestros barrios, globalmente y con la Tierra misma.
